    Brussels is not only our European Capital, it is also one of the oldest cities in Europe. Business aswell as regular tourism to Brussels has grown enormously over the past years.     Brussels is situated in the heart of Belgium, and competes with other most beautiful cities like Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp and Ostend as Belgium's most important touristic city. Bruges is certainly one of the major competitors of Brusses as Bruges counts also more than 80 hotels in Bruges in its ciy center. Bruges is an absolute must see when visiting Belgium, many consider this city to be more beautiful and charming than Brussels. This is why often a hotel in Bruges is choosen as a base to visit Brussels.

    Brussels is easiest  visited and reached using public transport. Rush hour in the capital starts very early and the entire day it is quiet busy. Brussels has excellent trainconnections with all major European cities like Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, London,... Brussels National Airport is about 20 min away from Brussels city center by train.
